Will I get my ultrasound results straight away?
With ultrasound scans, the scanned images show up immediately on the devices screen. This means that often the person operating the scanner can give immediate feedback - provided theyre suitably qualified to interpret the images. So, most likely youll get a verbal summary of the results immediately.
Do radiographers tell you results?

Do radiologists talk to patients?
KIE: Radiologists often are relectant to discuss their findings with patients, reasoning that the patients are only temporarily under their care, and that the diagnosis is better communicated by the referring physician.
