Three Houses, nominally a tactical role-playing game, boils down to a relationship builder—a dating sim. The same goes for the Mass Effect games, as the player can take the time to really become friends with the soldiers and mercenaries around them in between shoot-em-up missions.

Can a sim ask you to be their girlfriend?

Once two Sims have established some Romantic Relationship, you can ask to be Boyfriend/Girlfriend at just 30% (1/3 of the bar). This will not likely come up just walking up to them, but if you simply pull off a few Romantic socials, the option will appear.
