Very nice indeed. This is a very nice guitar for the money, and in general. I had a late 90s G-400 and I was never too impressed with it, mainly terrible pickups. This came set up beautifully, perfect fretwork, and Epiphone really worked to improve their pickups and it shows. The pickups are hot but not muddy.
Are Epiphone SG Standard guitars any good?
Its well made with good materials, the fittings are good, the pickups adequate if you want to play it as most people do. It is all-around a very good guitar. Its not a Gibson. Epiphone has done a great job of producing an iconic rock guitar at a price anyone can afford.
