What is it like dating someone in the Marines?

Dating a Marine is definitely not easy. They are constantly doing their job, and they are never home. You are always worrying about what they are doing or if they are in constant danger. You worry that you may never see him again, or something could happen that could change his life forever.

Can they hit you at basic training?

You wont go through “hell” together. Drill Instructors/Drill Sergeants dont physically touch recruits. They dont hit or physically assault recruits, ever. They come close, but they never physically hurt or even touch recruits.
