Question: What is the difference between love and intimacy?

Love and intimacy go hand in hand. Love is the physical, emotional, sexual, intellectual, or social affection one person holds for another. Intimacy on the other hand is a close relationship where mutual acceptance, nurturance, and trust are shared at some level.

Can there be love without intimacy?

A relationship can survive without intimacy, but it will become a real struggle for both partners as time goes on; neither partner will be happy or feel secure in the relationship.
