Question: Should you date in grad school?

Unfortunately, in grad school, a study date is a study date — no matter how badly youd like to swipe all the papers off the desk and get busy. That said, its not uncommon for grad students to spend a lot of time together actually getting work done even if they are interested in each other.

Can you date in graduate school?

Plenty of people date in graduate school. Graduate school is a great place to meet like-minded people, and if its a big enough city, you can also date outside of the university. Yes, a PhD is busy, but with proper time management, theres no reason why you shouldnt be able to enjoy dating/a relationship.

Is a 3.5 GPA good for grad school?

4.0 is a good GPA for grad admissions. 2.0 is a bad GPA for grad school admissions. Conventional wisdom says a 3.0+ minimum for a masters degree, and a 3.2 minimum for a PhD. However, 3.2 and 3.5 are better numbers for practical purposes.
